Get indexed, traffic and an instan tinfo-product all at the same time

Here's a tip I thought I'd share with you.

This will get your site indexed, a stready stream
of traffic to that site, gives you an "instant" infoproduct,
and it's an easy way to build your list...

All this in one simple method that marketers use every day.

Here's the to-do list, assuming that you already have a
webiste that needs to be indexed and needs traffic to it:

1- To get the site indexed and to give it Page Rank,
write 10 articles and submit them to article directories.

The article directories have high Page Rank and once they host
your article you get a one-way link back to your site, for F.R.E.E

This gets your site indexed because there can be a link to
your site from within the body of the article itself, or just
from the author resource section at the bottom of each article

2- You will get a steady stream of traffic if the article is good
and a lot of people are clicking on the link at the bottom of the
author resource section of your article.

Sometimes, other ezine publishers will go to article
directories to find good content for their ezines and
publish your article as-is, leaving your link intact.

This is a potential source for viral traffic

3- I recommend that you write 10 articles because what I want you
to do is write a 10-part report about something related to your web
site, but break it down into 10 parts, or 10 different articles.

The reason I suggest this is so you don't get overwhelmed at the
propspect of write a 10-part report. All you have to do is think
of a title for a 10-part report and simply write the first article.

If I had a site about weight loss, I'd write a 10-part report
called the Top 10 Weight Loss Tips, and make an article for each
weight loss tip, and submit it to the article directories.

So, think of the title for your 10-part report, write article 1,
and submit it.... and while that one article is busy getting your
site indexed and bringing a small amount of traffic to your site,
you can be writing the 2d article...and the 3d, and the 4th etc....

4- By the time you're done writing 10 articles and submitting
them to the article directories (this could feasibly be done in
just one day), your site WILL be indexed and you WILL be getting
some traffic from the search engines.

Now, seeing as how your site is already getting traffic, you
might as well start gathering some names and email addresses
to build your subscriber list.

The wonderful side benefit to doing all of this is that those
10 articles can easily be made into a report that you give away
at your site to get subscribers!!

Pull those 10 articles together in a format that reads well for
a short report and give away that report on your site in exchange
for visitors giving up their names and email addresses.

Summary...

You write 10 articles, submit them to article directories, make
a short report out of the 10 articles and give that report away
to build your list.

This doesn't cost a dime....except for a quality autoresponder

Open Office has a built-in pdf converter so converting your
10 articles into a downloadable PDF report is easy to do.

If you've read this far, congratulations, you don't have ADHD...

However, don't be phased by all of this "work".

Be Amazed by how much you can accomplish all at once.

We all need some sort of fr.e.e. product to build our lists...
We all need our sites indexed, and
We all could use some free traffic to our sites

Conclusion:

Any time you're starting out with a new program or niche
site use this method to get that site off to a good start.

Just a quick note to let you know that my site on home-based business reviews is 90% completed. I had to rebuild Firsthand reviews from scratch and it was a lot of work.

I had to recreate a site that had over 1600 home-based business reviews and get most of the content back up there. Between getting the Top Ten Mistakes report at http://firsthandreviews.com/topten and reading all the home-based business reviews at the site, you could save yourself a lot of pain and heartache by reading about other people's experiences with those particular home-based businesses

There are also penty of reviews on marketing tools, scams and gurus, too.

Plus, there are plenty of articles on making money online there so I suggest you take a look at that site when you get a chance.

Super Affiliates StillUsing the Same Old Methods

I looked at Jason James blog about his latest product launch
JV and saw that I was number 27 on the list.

However, I got bumped off pretty quick because
I wasn't using Super Affiliate tactics...

Simply put, the best promoters were
offering bonuses to their list just for
joining Jason's Untold Marketing Secrets site.

That's the way super-affiliates have been operating
for years, by making their offer better than everybody
else (or at least making it seem that way)

It's nicwe to see some things haven't changed and
what worked 10-15 years ago is still working today.

When I decided to review Jason James' new product "Untold Marketing Secrets", I was immediately confused. You see Jason gave away a "Preview Report" which I believe is a very good report that could have easily been sold on its own.

The Preview Report covered 19 Untold Marketing Secrets of which some are gonna make some folks upset. It isn't often that someone making their living online tells you what you "need" to hear rather than just what you "want" to hear to sell products.

But since you have access to that report for free, all I am going to say is download it, READ IT & take some ACTION! After all Jason has graciously given you that info for free.

As for the "Members Only Report" my first surprise was it wasn't as many pages as I expected. But we all know that value isn't the same as page count.
This report was done the same as the Preview report...the same only different. This info was more cutting edge.

Jason's writing style is clear. He tells you some of the simplest ideas that make you realize that sometimes all you have to do is look at things just a *little* differently than you have before.

As I went down through the list of Untold Marketing Secrets I found valuable resources in the form of links, websites & software.

Then it happened. WHAM! AHA!
OK that was a new one.

Secret #7. I would have never thought of that one. Just a bit sneaky too!
Then WHAM!

Secret #9 ...So Jason told us a great way that HE uses to make money. Once again while I was familiar with the topic I just didn't realize the potential. Jason just spelled it out. Hey I can do that.

And so it went.

By the time I got to Secret #24 I was loaded with ideas. I'm sure you will be too, any ONE of which can make you more money than the cost of the report in the first place.
That is, as long as you take A-C-T-I-O-N.

Granted if you are Mike Filsaime you may not need this report. If you are John Reese, Jeff Walker, Frank Kern or any one of a dozen other "gurus" out there you probably won't need it. But, since those guys know the value of getting ongoing education they may buy it just to glean even ONE idea from it. Just one idea can make you thousands.

The Untold Marketing Secrets report WAS lacking in something, however. It was lacking in fluff! It was all hard core information.

As for the bonuses...well they were stacked up pretty high too. In fact, there are PDFs all by strong marketers in their own right. There are audios & videos as well.

Most of the bonus items were quite informative, especially to the newbie & struggling marketer.
All in all I still liked the material that Jason himself provided better than the bonuses, but the bonuses and celebrity interviews were great. The interview with Mike Filsaime sent chills down my back when Mike told the details of how he got started.

And if you haven't heard Lisa Diane's story before, well let's just say inspiration is an understatement.

I found Jason's "in your face" honesty refreshing in todays hyped up internet marketing world. I need more actionable items. Jason provided that.

Give "Untold Marketing Secrets" a try. Some of these ideas you've probably heard. Others I would be amazed if you have.

Anyway...
You will find good solid info inside and a great value to you. And if you don't make money with the info...well then my friend...you just didn't take action.

I've had some discussions (and arguments) with
other marketers about how they do their tracking.

A lot of people swear by their link and click-trackers...

But what REAL value comes from that?

The purpose of tracking is to know how and where
you are getting subscribers and sales!

HITS= How Idiots Track Sales...

I don't care how many clicks I get.
It doesn't matter...

Would you rather know how many HITS you got or
where you get most of your sales and subscribers?

Here is what most people do...

They use Track That Ad, Click Audit, or some other
kind of link tracking tool that tells them about their clicks.

But all those clicks are sending people to
the same list via the same squeeze page.

Let's say you run an ad somewhere, and your link
tracker says you got 100 clicks.

Does it tell you how
many subscribers you got?

Does it tell you how
responsive those subscribers are?

Does it tell you how responsive traffic
exchange ads are versus Ezine solo ads?

Or how many optins you got from one or the other?
Or how much they spend?

NO, it doesn't...Wanna know why?

Because they all go to the
same list in your autoresponder...

Let's say I advertised in Topsurfer, Mad Vlad, traffic
exchanges,classified ads sites, and PayPerclick advertising.

That's a lot of clicks to keep track of and everyone
is being sent to the same list from all those various
advertising venues.

Now, you have 5-7 sources of traffic and they're all
adding to justONE list....but do you know where
your subscribers are coming from?

You could find this out by doing more analysis,
but it's not really going to tell you much at a glance...

This is wasted time...counting clicks

Here's what I do,and I recommend you try this.

1-Create separate lists, name them according
to each advertisingsource Make COPIES of one
squeeze page and change the code on each one
so that it adds people into a different list.

I bet your eyes are rolling over in the back of your head now...

Let me explain...

I run a Google Adwords campaign to get subscribers.
I have a dedicated squeeze page and list for the PPC campaign

Those subscribers get added to their own unique list in my
autoresponder. To see how responsive those subscribers are,
I can email that list to see how responsive they are.

I have 36 lists in my Aweber autoresponder, and at a
glance I can tell which advertising is getting subscribers

At first, this is a lot of work, but the information I
get back at a glance is well worth the effort.

Here is the step-by-step on how to do this...

1- Create a generic squeeze page
to use for all advertising

2- Create a separate list for the
new advertising you want to track

3- Once the list is created, create the HTML code for the
squeezepage that is going to be adding people to that particular list.

4- Make a copy of that generic squeeze page, but replace the
HTMLcode in the generic squeeze page with the code from the new list.

At this point, you've created a copy of a squeeze page that
you usefor all campaigns, created a new list, and now you
need to copy the email series of messages over from the
main list to other lists.

For example, if the main list has a series of email messages in it
that you would like to keep and use for all lists, then copy those
messages over to the new list with just the click of a button.

5- After copying the messages over, you're ready
to promote the new squeeze page you created.

6-Upload the new squeeze page to your website.
Promote that squeeze page and watch your subscribers grow.

Mail to them seperately to see how responsive they are.

In this business you don't want to create more work for yourself.

You want to "set it and forget it"

At a GLANCE, I can see how well all of the lists are doing
with regards to how many subscribers I got from each source.

One last thing...

If you insist on counting clicks, you can use your
Webhostingtracking tool for that because they have
AWSTATS (Advanced WebStatisitics) which tracks all
the urls on your site anyways.

So you don't need a link tracker of any kind, ever

1-Unlimited Subscribers by Charles Ryder...

I do NOT recommend this. It's basically a tool that
makes it easy to build a squeeze page, but it costs $197.00

Marketer's Relief will have the same thing for F.REE!!!

2- Adwords List Builder- A list of 5,322 in 7 days
at $.06 a clickI do NOT recommend this one either,
because it doesn't fully reveal how the list was obtained
so quickly for 6 cents a click.

It does tell you the history of Adwords, and List-building
and how these things can work well together.

But That's it...The product is merely a teaser to become
an attendee at an Adwords online class or seminar...

Which costs BIG money...I was personally very
disappointed with this because 2 marketers I looked up
to(Matthew Glanfield and Michael Rasmussen) promoted this.

I'm getting kind of sick of all these types of products lately,
which is why I decided to create the Marketer's Relief

about some new launches going on right now.

The Black Mask Adsense product has
nothing new in it except the Title and Hype

My review was half-way written when I saw Frank Sousa's
review on it an dsince he said it better than I could...

Dear Dan,

I've been debating whether or not to write to
you about this, but I'm frustrated and don't
want to see you waste your money. It will be
short, as I'm headed out the door to Las Vegas
very shortly for Carl Galletti's conference this
weekend.

If you're going to be there, please be sure and say hi.

I'm asked sometimes why I don't promote all the
latest and greatest hot products as so many other
internet marketers are doing these days.

It seems that every day there's a different one.

The latest one to hit the Internet is a great example.

I must have received at least 20 emails so far
from people selling the latest "hot" product,
the black mask ebook. It's a super hyped up
sales letter promising lots of secrets of how
to make tons of money very quickly.

I fell for it... I admit it. It's a great,
very convincing sales letter. I think a lot of
marketers looked at all the commissions they
could collect with such a great sales letter,
but I doubt if they really looked at what they
were offering to their readers.

In reality though, the product is another
ho hum book about building garbage websites,
and sticking adsense on them. The idea is to
buy 300 or more domain names, put up an
automatically generated site on them,
and link them together.

This is NEW information?

This worked very well a few years ago,
but unless you want to spend your whole day
putting up new sites, and taking down ones
that have been banned by Google, then save
your money.

I won't say that this doesn't work for some
people, but for most that I know, it's a
losing proposition.

I'm not saying that all auto generated
sites are bad... far from it, but the
methods outlined in this book are old
outdated methods that will only work for
a very short time if at all.

I get frustrated when I see so many well
known marketers pushing this kind of garbage
each day...

I needed to get this out to you, and just
wanted to let you know what that product is
REALLY about. I try hard to really investigate
a product or service before I would ever
recommend it to my customers... and this is
one I would definitely NOT recommend to most
people.

If you already bought it, and you see what
I see, you can go to clickbank and ask for a
refund. Send your clickbank ID to
refunds@clickbank.com.

They are usually very fast in processing
refunds.

$97.00 a month is an absolute rip-off...

Compare it to Molten Marketing: a membership
site offering 10-20 times the value of "IM T.V."
and for less.

Molten Marketing is a little expensive though,
but worth it, in my opinion.

Paid blogging is going to be VERY popular soon.

...But is it another internet marketing fad, trend, or flash-in-the-pan?

Here are the Pros and Cons for Paid Blogging

I like to start with the cons then leave with you with the PROs
because this is going to be a big deal soon and like it or not,
paid blogging will be around for a while.

The cons are that some paid blogging sites require that you
have a blog for a certain period of time before you're allowed
to post and get paid for your blog posts.

There are some advertisers paying for blog posts who
require that your blog have a certain PR (page rank)
before you qualify to post for them.

And the last negative thing I can think of is that you have to
set up your own blogs. That's not a negative really, but this is
where most people will stall, fail, and drop the whole idea of
following through with this guaranteed income producer.

How does paid blogging relate to the bum marketing method?

Well, paid blogging, generally speaking, won't give you a
residual income like the article writing efforts that the bum
marketing method employs.

You see, with bum marketing, once you write your articles,
they're out in cyberspace forever,and you can make affiliate
commissions off those articles.

Now, paid blogging is different because you don't make any
affiliate commissions from your posts.

On the other hand, once your blog post is accepted you're

For people who are serious about earning an income from the Internet.
A tip for people who have a list, or are just getting into online marketing...

A common issue that keeps coming up is that people don't have a centralized place to manage their list. One reason for this is that a lot of "newbies" are using the autoresponder that their affiliate program provides for them.

Another reason is many marketers are using fr-ee autorespondersor "other" autoresponders besides Aweber and Get Response..

Here's a common scenario you may fit into fully, or partially.

You joined a bunch of programs, and got leads for them

Those subscribers end up in your affiliate program's autoresponder.

Most new marketers don't have their own autoresponder and don't know the first thing about how to capture leads for themselves.

It was this very issue that caused me to create the IM TOOLKIT.

What ends up happening is people often join other programs,thereby losing those hard-earned subscribers...

What if you could get those subscribers back?

Wouldn't that be great?

I'm about to show you how...

But first, let's cover one more scenario...

Have you ever purchased some software/autoresponder that came with a product you purchased? Most likely those autoresponders aren't working too well.

The 2 best autoresponder companies for new and intermediate marketers are Aweber and Get Response. If you're using anything but these 2 programs, I recommend youmove your list over to either of these companies.

Here's how to do that, it's really very simple.

Step 1- Get a real autoresponder, either Aweber or Get Response.

Step 2-Create a new list for the soon-to-be recovered subscribers.

Step 3- Create a squeeze page opt-in form. It's real easy to do, and if you need help both of these companies have Live Chat Customer Support to help you do everything.

The headline for your optin form should be..(no quotes)

"Get your fr-ee report here", a line for name, email address, and on the Submit line, just put "Yes, I want my Fr-ee report"

Step 4- Write the text for the squeeze page that goes above the optin box. Here is an example of what you could write... http://firsthandreviews.com/topten

Just copy the TEXT, the words off that page, and use it as the words for your squeeze page. You're basically making a copy of my squeeze page, and making it your own.

This may be the toughest part for some of you.

It can be done using just Notepad and/or Miscrosoft Word.

Step 5- Once you've created the squeeze page, you need to upload it to your website. Again, there is help available from your web-hosting companies. They will help you do the upload...

Step 6- Almost there. Now log in to all your autoresponders and send them an email saying something like, (no quotes)

"Hi, it's YOURNAME HERE, check out this report I came across that really helped me. You should check it out" and in that email, you have a clickable link to the squeeze page you created.

Those downlines, or long-forgotten subscribers, go to your squeeze page and opt in to get the fr-ee report. You have now successfully moved some of your list over into a quality autoresponder.

If you ever quit that program, those leads will still be on your list as long as they don't unsubscribe.

Ok, did I forget anything? Yes, I did...

What fr-ee report will you send these new subscribers, and how?

After you get people to get to that squeeze page and they opt in toyour list, send them the first follow-up message.

The first follow up message should be short and sweet...(no quotes)

HEADLINE--Use the firstname code here (looks like !firstname)
Headline: !firstname, here is your fr-ee report

Line 1-- !firstname, here is your fr-ee report.

Say something good about the report here, then leave a link.

After 4 months and many revisions, the IM Toolkit is a finished product (for now)

learn how to record audios using Audio Acrobat
learn how to use Camtasia
deal with the pit-falls of creating PDF files
find disclaimers for the beggining of the ebook
do some price-testing
get initial feedback on the paid version
improve it based on the feedback
and learn how to make it a "7 dollar offer"
and make sales and squeeze pages for it

Well, it's over and done with.

4 months to create a product is much too long if you want to be profitable in this business. If I had to do it all over again, the IM Toolkit could have been created in a week.

To completely outsource a 7 dollar offer here's what you would need to do.

Buy some PLR materials for the product-to-be
Organize the material into some sort of report
Outsource the final re-write to a ghostwriter

There is a cynical side of me that says they really don't want to succeed. Sometimes I think that they want the Magic Pill solution to making tons of money online.

I will NEVER promote anything like that, and my subscribers know it.

Even people who don't know me personally should have jumped all over this Special Offer.

So I can't help but wonder why it didn't get snapped up by the hundreds of people I expected???

Even for just the trial offer....

I spent a lot of time bringing this extreme value to my list, so I can't help but be a little disappointed for THEM because they are losing out on a great deal.

Is it the time of year? Or did past products I recommended not work for them?

Is it the cost? If so, why not take a look anyway for just a buck?

Is it because a marketing course means some educational materials are in there and that means it's not a Magic Pill? I thought I cured my list of searching for Magic Pills with the IMTOOLKIT and the Top Ten Mistakes Report, both of which clearly state there is no Magic Pill.

I can't explain why a smaller percentage than usual participated in the best value on the Internet today. I reviewed every page of the course, and since it helped me so much I couldn't wait to put it in front of my list.

Some email response I got back were

"It sounds like a lot of hype"

but if that guy took a look at it for just $1.00, he would have found out for himself, and changed his mind right away.

"What I really need is traffic to my site"

was another response I got. Traffic is not the cure-all for your online business, and getting traffic will never be THE solution you're looking for. This course covers that, too.

And I've explained this to my lists, several times.

"I'm doing well with my current business, and don't need to be distracted"

Now the gentleman who wrote this impressed me because he's already got a handle on things. He's focused and what he's doing is working, so he doesn't want to "mess" with that. Now this is a better reason for not buying this Special Offer, but it still would have benefitted him because all businesses can afford to do better, can't they?

Blogging- If you don't have a blog set up, do it right away. They're easy to get indexed and will get you some practical experience in writing. Since your blog will get indexed quickly, there will be people that don't know you reading the blog.

You need to consider how your blog will appear to the first-time visitor. When you start thinking from the perspective of the reader, you're thinking like a true marketer, and like a good copywriter. This is why blogs are so important. Blogging helps you "cut your teeth" on developing copywriting skills.

You've heard talk about blogging but are one of those people who don't quite understand what it is. That's alright, we'll go over what a blog is, the history of blogs, what they are used for and why they are important to your online business.

What is a blog? A blog is essentially like a journal where people can post their thoughts and have them read and commented on by anyone.

What is a blogger? A blogger is someone who creates a blog and posts on it. Brief history of blogs Weblogs, simply known as blogs now, haven't been around for that long. The roots of the blog can be traced back to 1994 when people kept online journals (diaries) in which they wrote about things in their life.

The popular free blogging site called Blogger was created in 1999 by Evan Williams and Meg Hourihan. Blogger was later purchased by Google in 2003. What are blogs used for? In the very beginning, blogs were usually used to talk about a person's life. People would make blog posts about things happening in their life, thus using the blog as a public journal. Over time, the use of the blog evolved.

People began using the blog to post their opinions about everything from politics to religion to sports to music, among other things. Nowadays, blogs are even used to make money--one 20-year-old makes $5,000 from Google per month because he has Google Ads on his blog. Businesses have also begun to effectively use blogs for their own purposes.

Why are blogs important to your online business? Millions of people from all over the world read blogs every day. Those who have a blog are given a lot of exposure--there is the potential for them to have millions of unique readers each day.

Can you imagine having a million people see your business' name each day? That sounds pretty incredible, doesn't it? Yet, that's exactly what could happen if you create and maintain a successful, well-read blog. And that's actually a pretty easy thing to do.

So how exactly can you use the blog to help your online business? Well, you can use it in a variety of ways. You could: Use the blog to discuss things related to your field of business. For instance, if your business provides web hosting services, you could discuss things related to web hosting, thus showing potential customers how much of a guru you are.

You could:

Let your employers have their own blogs to talk about your services/products. The more active blogs that reference your business, the more exposure you'll get.

This is because blogs are search engine friendly (Google is known to list them after only a few days, whereas it takes regular web sites weeks to appear on a search engine).

Having a high search engine ranking is crucial to having a successful online business. Blogs help you to increase your ranking, which will increase your business. The great thing about blogs is that they are easy to use and also very effective.

reviews are heavily laden with keywords.

That will optimize the page you're creating and will make
it very SEO-friendly. SEO means Search Engine
Optimization, and if you write your reviews the right
you're going to get traffic to it, naturally.

The beauty of this idea is that it's article marketing
without all the hassle of dealing with the strict
requirements of the article directories.

There is a minimum amount of words required to
submit reviews. The reason for this is, once you have
created a 250-word review, you can then start submitting
these articles/reviews to article directories because
they have a 250-word minimum, too.

They have a lot of other restrictions, though...

On my site, if you write the article properly, without a
ton of exclamation points and refer to the name of program
instead of calling it "it" or "this" in the review, you'll get some
natural traffic because you optimized the page properly.

...and you will have started your article marketing career.

Most article directories have a whole bunch of restrictions
so I'm providing you the easy way to get published easily.

Craigs List will change their rules if too many people start
using the tactics in this ebook.

The same philosophy applies to the DayJob Killer ebook.
If the methods get too popular, CL or Google will lay a "smack"
down and change the rules to keep their customers/stockholders happy.

Another product coming out soon is called Tube Traffic.

It's an ebook by a well-know man who really knows his stuff

It's been my experience that generating traffic using videos
in YouTube and VideoGoogle doesn't work that well, especially
